About
I am Setareh, both my parents were teachers and are now retired. I have one sister and three brothers and I was the last child in the family. Maybe because I was the last child or because of my parents' jobs, I always tried to be the best, studious and hardworking.
I wanted to become a construction engineer since I was a child, and when I graduated from architecture, I realized that it was not enough. I wanted to be an expert in my field. I wanted to have something to say about my field, so I continued my education. The further I went, the more I realized that I don't know anything and I would like to learn as much as possible.
Part of my work is related to the context, which requires a deep understanding of the context itself and its people and culture. For this reason, I am very interested in living experience in different cultures, and I also travel a lot in my own country, and I closely analyze and examine the architecture of different cities of Iran and its relationship with culture and context.
In the photos below, you can see some of my memories of traditional Iranian architecture. Iranian architecture is a rich and very beautiful architecture and I learned a lot from it.
